Sensitivity Test:

• In our efforts to deliver the best quality henna & henna based products, we conduct a set of tests in our in-house lab and at the same time request our end-users to conduct the Sensitivity Test. As Paraphenylenediamine (PPD) containing preparations may cause inflammation of the skin in some cases, so a preliminary test should always be carried out to determine if special sensitivity exists.
• For carrying out the test, cleanse a small area of skin behind the ear or on the inner surface of the forearm, using soap and water or alcohol based cleanser. Apply a small quantity of the hair color, prepared as per instruction in the pack. Allow to dry and leave uncovered for 24 hours, wash the area gently, if no irritation or inflammation is apparent, it may be assumed that no hypersensitivity to the color exists. The test should, however be carried out before each and every application.
